Dave Sasson is an internationally recognized veteran of the hi-tech wireless logistics and supply chain industries. For over 20 years, he has been instrumental in designing and implementing technology to streamline operational processes for Fortune 500 companies including Merck, Pfizer, Wyeth, Bristol-Myers Squibb, IBM, Chico’s, Regis, Newell-Rubbermaid, and many others.
Along with founding Open Terra, Mr. Sasson has served in executive leadership positions at a number of technology companies. His experience includes: Executive VP of Operations and CTO at DecisionPoint Systems, a publicly traded enterprise mobility company; COO and CTO at CAPE Systems, a global provider of supply chain sustainability software for packaging, palletizing and transportation; Executive VP at Invata Intralogistics; VP of Global Services at Vertex; and VP of Operations at DCS.
He also serves on the board of a number of corporate and trade organizations, including WERC. He has been named to Standard and Poor’s Society of Industry Leaders and the Congressional Business Advisory Council, and has frequently hosted “Technically Speaking” on VoiceAmerica Business as an expert in the latest business and technology trends. He is sought after for speaking engagements on a number of business and technology topics affecting the world today, and contributes regularly as a community moderator and blogger for award-winning social media technology forums at United Business Media, including EBN Online, Enterprise Efficiency, All Analytics, and The CMO Site.
Ted Bielenda serves as the CTO and Senior Architect of Open Terra. Mr. Bielenda co-founded Open Terra, Inc. in 2002 with a background in computer science and electrical engineering. In his current position he has architected and led the development of Open Terra’s mobile and M2M technologies. Mr. Bielenda holds patents in the areas of software and hardware components revolving around RFID and wireless mobility solutions. Before his appointment as CTO of Open Terra, Mr. Bielenda was the Director of Engineering for Cape Systems, a global provider of logistics and supply chain asset tracking and optimization technology where he has led the development of the company’s next generation software meeting the company’s vision. He has led a team of engineers in bringing to market the latest generation hardware for their digital display products. He was Director of Engineering and Lead Software Engineer for Renaissance Software where he has led the development of the world’s first Java based Warehouse Management Software and Order Management suite. Working closely with Sun in their beta release of Java, the WMS system was a tremendous success embraced by its first Fortune 1000 customer.
Mr. Bielenda graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University receiving a Summa Cum Laude degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering. He is a strong member of the IEEE, active member of the Java Developer Network, Microsoft partner among many others.
Tim Kehrer leads the Business Development efforts at Open Terra and is responsible for all sales and strategic alliances focused on establishing new benchmarks in the ever-changing world of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and mobile applications that help people and businesses harness real-time intelligence from smart devices. Tim comes to Open Terra with over 18 years of sales leadership experience, most recently with Apple where he led a sales team delivering strategic, value-added solutions to key clients. Prior to Apple, Tim spent several years in various sales roles in the supply chain, logistics and asset tracking arenas.
Andrew Lamrock is an operations professional with a rare ability to combine technical knowledge, business acumen as well as sales and presentation skills. This allows Andrew to communicate with a range of stakeholders, across a wide range of topics. For 15 years Andrew has been a leader in mobility, as a forward thinker he knows how to embrace cutting edge technology and rationalise it for everyday use.
Andrew first established himself at Major Communications, transitioning a traditional radio network business into the age of digital communications, successfully growing the business into a multi-region provider of analogue and digital communications services across Australia. Using his experience Andrew headed up Field Access, implementing mobility solutions in the utility and infrastructure space before revolutionising the Australian Tax Office cable management solution.
In more recent years Andrew was the National Manager for Sales Programs at Telstra, where he designed and built a new strategy to assist businesses understand and embrace technology as a productivity tool. At Open Terra, Andrew oversees M2M activity in the Asia-Pacific regions and now uses his experience as an expert technology consultant to help business understand technology, rationalise their business and implement solutions that complement and enhance workflows.
Puneet Randhawa’s experience spans over 15 years across a range of industries, verticals and geographic regions. Puneet has developed systems in manufacturing (Rana Polycot India), instructed engineering students at (Tata Unisys India), developed financial systems at (ING Australia), created mesh sensor networks at (Smartblue Australia) and prototyped a cell phone based system at (Telstra Research Labs, Australia). His strength is in system optimization and redesigning systems to adapt to efficient technologies without major rewrites.
At OpenTerra he has been the architect for the next generation, cloud scalable M2M DeviceCentral system and managing a technical team spread across three time zones.
Terri Sundholm is a marketing professional with vast experience in B2B marketing within the information and mobile technology industries. Terri was Marketing Manager with decisionpoint systems, formerly Sentinel Business Solutions, for over seven years. In this role, she developed relationships with vendors such as Motorola, Intermec, Sprint, TMobile, and Wavelink among others. Ms. Sundholm plays a key role in the business development of Open Terra by strengthening partnerships and implementing the vision of its founders through strategic marketing and communication initiatives.
